Slack integration for status approvals

June 25, 2020
Build #2808

This update adds two new useful ways to manage member availability statuses directly from Slack.

First, you can now easily set your status from within your Slack workspace. Just type /teamplify in the chat and Teamplify will guide you through the process.

Second, we've expanded how admins can approve or deny status changes. Our recent update lets admins choose to make certain statuses approval-required, whereas before there was no way of managing the workflow within Slack. This update makes approval much easier. Now, as soon as a member sets a status that requires approval, all organization admins will receive a private notification in Slack. There they'll be able to approve or deny the change with a few clicks. This process happens over direct message, so it'll be seen only by the parties who need to see it.
