Smart Standups help teams stay in sync through written async updates. They can work in two ways: as a full replacement for a standup meeting, or as preparation for one, so the meeting time is spent on issues that actually need the team's attention, not on status updates.
Smart Standups work with Slack and Mattermost. Microsoft Teams support is coming soon. To deliver standup reports to a chat channel, first connect the messenger in Settings → Integrations.
Smart Standups work together with other Teamplify features to give the team more context without extra effort.
Time off — members on vacation, sick leave, or during national holidays won't receive reminders and won't be expected to submit a report. If a member has upcoming time off in the next two weeks, their report includes a small calendar so the team knows in advance who will be available.
Team Workflows — configured workflow checks appear directly in the report: no commits for several days, overdue tasks, stale issues with no recent updates, or too many tasks in progress at once. The team sees potential blockers without anyone having to ask.
Time Tracking — each report automatically includes tasks currently in progress with the total time spent on them. Teamplify calculates this based on how long each task has been in an "in progress" status, accounting for working days and time off. No manual input needed.
