Okta

Connect your Okta tenant to your Teamplify workspace to use it for Single Sign-On.

Prerequisites

In order to set up an integration with Okta, you must:

  • Have access to an Okta tenant
  • Be an Okta administrator in that tenant

Supported features

  • SP-initiated SSO (Single Sign-On)
    • Okta will appear as one of the sign-in tiles when you're logging in to your workspace
  • Limited Just-In-Time provisioning
    • When you're first logging in to Teamplify, a user will be created for you, but only if your Okta email's domain belongs is configured for self-registration in Organization > Settings > Profile

Configuration steps

  1. Go to the Teamplify app in the Okta Integration Network and press + Add Integration
  2. Configure the application visibility and label, and finish the application setup by clicking Done
  3. You'll be redirected to the newly configured Teamplify app, go to the Sign On tab
  4. Find your Client ID and Client secret in the Sign on methods section
  5. Paste your Okta tenant URL, Client ID and Client secret into the connection form in Teamplify and click Connect
  6. (Optional) To enable JIT provisioning, configure your organization email domain for self-registration in Organization > Settings > Profile
