Teamplify + Google

Connecting your Google Workspace account unlocks Team Analytics and 360° feedback, and also allows you to use Google as a Single Sign-On provider.

Team Analytics

Integrate meeting data from Google Meet and Google Calendar into the Team Analytics dashboard. You can explore multiple views, including the Team Calendar and Collaboration Analysis.

Team Analytics data enhances 360° feedback sessions, providing greater visibility and helping reduce bias.

360° Feedback Sessions

Teamplify's 360° feedback sessions become even more effective with Google data. By analyzing collaboration patterns in meetings, Teamplify can provide more accurate automated suggestions for feedback peers.

When giving or receiving feedback, human input is shown side-by-side with Team Analytics reports, offering a more comprehensive view of performance and helping reduce bias. Connecting Google not only enhances Team Analytics but also improves the quality and fairness of your 360° feedback sessions.

Export Time Off data to Google Calendar

Teamplify has a built-in time off management system that integrates seamlessly with Google Calendar and all other Teamplify features.

When you connect your Google Workspace, Teamplify automatically creates Time Off calendars in Google Calendar. There’s one calendar for the entire Teamplify workspace, which includes all members, and a separate calendar for each team. You can find the links to these calendars on the Google Workspace integration page in Teamplify.

Single Sign-On

To use Google as your Single Sign-On (SSO) provider, first enable it in your Teamplify workspace settings. Once activated, your teammates can log in to Teamplify using their Google accounts.

Multiple collaboration platforms

With any Teamplify plan, you can connect as many integrations as you need. If you use multiple Google accounts, or use Google alongside other online collaboration platforms like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft, you can connect them all to Teamplify and access unified analytics across all data sources.

Data being analyzed

Teamplify collects the following data from Google:

  • Google Calendar Meetings: title, host, participants, start date and time, planned duration.
  • Google Meet Meetings: title, host, participants, join and leave times for each participant.

Teamplify’s use and transfer of information obtained from Google APIs comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Workspace vs. Personal integration

Teamplify supports both workspace-wide and personal Google integrations. Here’s how they differ:

  • Workspace Integration connects your entire Google Workspace account, allowing multiple Google organization members to link their accounts to their Teamplify profiles. To set it up, you need admin rights in both Google Workspace and Teamplify.
  • Personal Integration lets any Teamplify user connect their individual Google account and link it directly to their Teamplify profile.

How to connect Google Workspace to Teamplify

  1. In your Teamplify workspace settings, go to Integrations and select the Google integration. Here's a quick link:
