If your team uses Jira worklogs for reporting or billing, this update is for you. Teamplify can now automatically sync its time tracking calculations to Jira — no manual entry required.

This keeps your Jira issues updated with accurate time data without any manual effort — the same effortless approach you're used to with Teamplify time tracking.

How it works

When sync is enabled, Teamplify periodically checks its calculated time against Jira. It creates a worklog for each person on each issue and keeps it updated as work progresses.

Teamplify marks its worklogs with a special comment: "Time Tracking by Teamplify". This lets it know which worklogs to manage while leaving your manual entries untouched.

How to set up

This feature is available for Jira Cloud. To enable it:

  1. Install the Teamplify for Jira app in your Jira instance
  2. In your Jira integration settings in Teamplify, turn on Sync worklogs to Jira
  3. Ensure team members have connected their Jira accounts to their Teamplify profiles

Worklogs are only synced for people who have connected their Jira account, so you can try it out with a few people first before rolling it out to the whole team.
