Since we released the first version of the Collaborator's Report, we've received plenty of valuable feedback. Many users found it helpful, but they also noted that its accuracy could be improved. Today, we're excited to introduce an enhanced version, built around a new concept: estimating communication time.
Here's how it works: Teamplify gathers collaboration data from multiple sources—your team's task tracker, code repositories, and meetings on platforms like Google, Slack, or Zoom. For each human interaction, it estimates the time spent based on factors such as meeting duration, number of participants, and activity in the task tracker or pull request comments. Finally, Teamplify sums up all these interactions to show how closely people collaborated over a given period.
You can find this report in the Analytics section of any Teamplify member's profile. Just open a member's profile, go to Analytics, and click the Teamwork tab.
Just as before, collaboration analysis powers our automated peer suggestions for 360° feedback sessions — only now, with improved accuracy, the suggestions are better than ever 🙂
