Teamplify helps to keep your task tracker organized with the improved “Work in progress monitor” notification.

One of the most popular Teamplify features is the ability to track work in progress. Accurate information in the task tracker is important for many reasons: keeping everyone on the same page, identifying bottlenecks, and focusing on top priorities.

Today, we're making the Work-in-progress monitor notification more flexible - you can now set the maximum number of tasks in progress:

As before, this notification can work standalone or as a part of Smart Daily Standup. If you already have it enabled for your team, the default setting will be a maximum of one task in progress. If you'd like to adjust that, click the ⚙️ icon on the corresponding notification in Slack, which will immediately bring you to the notification settings:

If you haven't enabled it before, here's how you can do it:

  • In the Teamplify main menu, click on the team name and select Settings. Then, you'll see two tabs: Notifications and Profile.
  • On the Notifications tab, you can configure standalone notifications that aren't a part of the Daily Standup. The one responsible for tracking work in progress is called the "Work in progress monitor";
  • If you'd like to do this check during daily standups, go to the Profile tab and click Standup > Configure. Scroll down to the "Require to have a task in progress" setting, enable it, and adjust the maximum no. of tasks in progress below.
